We engineered this Gusher pump with AES seal pot as a solution to their dilemma. An AES seal pot is commonly used for grungy or contaminated processes containing solids. It provides depressurized buffer fluid circulation to the mechanical seal chamber of the pump. Using a combination of flow rate and pressure changes, the AES seal pot modifies the environment in the seal chamber so that the mechanical seals are in contact with the external buffer fluid instead of the process or pumped fluid, mitigating the risk of contamination.
