State-Of-The-Art Lobe Technology.
Lobe pumps are positive displacement pumps that operate similarly to external gear pumps as fluid and other product flows around the interior of the casing rather than between the lobes. They differ from external gear pumps, however, as the lobes do not make contact with each other. Because rotary lobe pumps are non-contacting and have large pumping chambers, they can handle solids without damage, such as cherries or olives. They also handle liquid, slurries and paste.
Their excellent sanitary qualities, high efficiency, and clean-in-place and sterilize-in-place characteristics make them a solid choice in food, beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. They can also be found in chemical, pulp and paper, paint, wastewater and anaerobic digesters.
Anderson Process partners with trusted lobe pump manufacturers — including Ampco Pumps Company and Vogelsang — to offer a large selection of positive displacement lobe pumps for nearly any industrial and sanitary process application.
