A chemical manufacturer was looking for a solution for transferring, loading, and unloading demanding chemicals. The pictured robust pump skid we constructed contains a 3″X2″ Finish Thompson self-priming (SP) pump with rotating flanges made of polypropylene. The pump is driven by a 7.5 HP Baldor motor. A PVC strainer basket was added and the attractive assembly sits on a fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) baseplate. An efficient, reliable solution that was able to be put in service immediately.
