This heavy-duty Cornell pump skid was designed for a well-known aggregate producer. The customer needed to extract water from a pond and deliver that water to their wash plant, so that they can wash aggregate. The aggregate being washed with 50 PSI spray bars that were over 70’ in the air. They needed the pump to deliver over 5,000 GPM at 200’ TDH. This skid consisted of a large Cornell pump that provides 12” suction x 10” discharge and has a 22” impeller. The pump is belt-driven by a 350 HP motor. This robust pump skid clocks in at 82% efficient at the design point.
