Check out this sanitary tubing we welded fittings on for a custom adhesive filtration skid we built. Welding sanitary tubing is a technical process that needs to have full penetration and purge gas flowing through the tube while it’s welded to shield the inside of the weld. A purge gas, such as argon or nitrogen, evacuates oxygen from the tubing. If oxygen enters the weld pool, the sanitary tubing’s corrosion resistance and overall quality will suffer.
