Several years ago the Anderson Process team custom engineered a pump skid for a gravel pit customer moving large amounts of aggregate. The pump consisted of a large Pioneer GS8 Pump Assembly designed for pumping water 2,000 GPM at 60 Feet of head. The self-priming, solids handling, centrifugal pump was put on a fabricated steel base and designed to be belt driven by a 50 HP motor.
The pump has been such a great addition to their process that they recently ordered an identical unit. Here’s the finished product before it shipped out last week:
