Pictured is a skid designed to transfer batches of Glycol off rail cars and into tanker trucks. To achieve this, a Blackmer MS3 Magnes pump was coupled to a Nord gearbox and a WEG 10 HP explosion proof motor. This assembly pumped the Glycol through an Endress Hauser ProMass Coriolis flow meter to totalize the flow of the product that was pumped. The batch and flow of the Glycol was controlled from beginning to end with pneumatically actuated butterfly valves. Other accessories included on the skid are Dixon MannTek dry disconnects, ISLIP Basket strainer, pressure gauges and a flow switch. All the piping in the assembly, including the piping that linked the flanged adapters, was welded by Anderson Process technicians using Schedule 40 stainless steel. All the components are mounted on a powder coated steel frame with leveling feet.
