A sign and banner manufacturer wanted their Travaini liquid ring vacuum pump system they purchased on Ebay overhauled. The system features a single stage, oil lubricated liquid ring pump that is used to pull vacuum through a router table to secure material for various projects. The number of usage hours on the system had reached its limit for recommended overhaul interval time. Due to the system reaching that usage milestone, the customer wanted everything on the system inspected and replaced if necessary. We verified that the motor, electric panel, and valves were all functioning properly. All the pipes on the unit were cleaned out and all the common wear items and liquids were replaced, including the pump and motor bearings, gaskets, seals, filters, and oil. After completing all the overhaul work, we tested at our facility and verified successful operation. Once the work was completed we sent the system back to the customer.
