We recently completed a custom-built fuel oil supply skid designed for installation in a hospital setting. Its purpose? To reliably supply fuel oil to backup generators and boilers, ensuring uninterrupted power and heating in critical situations.
This skid was engineered for performance, safety, and serviceability. Here’s what went into it:
🔹 (2) Tuthill pumps close-coupled to Weg motors for robust and efficient fluid transfer
🔹 Titan duplex strainer to protect the system from contaminants
🔹 Ful Flo pressure relief valves for overpressure protection
🔹 Dixon ball valves and check valves for precise flow control and backflow prevention
🔹 Vega level switches for accurate monitoring of fluid levels
🔹 All components mounted on a painted carbon steel base with built-in containment
🔹 Welded SCH40 interconnecting piping for durability and leak prevention
🔹 A custom control panel (not pictured) built by our team at AP MI
This project showcases our ability to deliver turnkey fluid handling solutions tailored to mission-critical environments like healthcare facilities. From pump selection to containment and controls, every detail was designed to meet the hospital’s operational and safety standards.
