For this project, our team designed and fabricated two chemical dosing skids to batch CIP chemicals in a high‑volume brewing environment. The focus was precise chemical delivery, reliable operation, and built‑in secondary containment.
Each skid was built around Graco QUANTM™ electric‑operated double diaphragm pumps, selected for their consistent flow characteristics, reduced pulsation compared to traditional AODD pumps, and energy‑efficient operation. QUANTM pumps are well suited for chemical dosing applications where repeatability and reliability are critical.
To further stabilize flow and protect downstream components, Blacoh pulsation dampeners and pressure relief valves were integrated into each system. These components help smooth discharge flow, improve metering consistency, and provide an added layer of system protection.
All equipment was housed within a Peabody Engineering containment enclosure, providing secondary containment and a clean, organized footprint. CPVC interconnecting piping was used throughout for chemical compatibility and corrosion resistance, making the skids well suited for CIP chemical service.
System highlights include:
- (2) Graco QUANTM electric‑operated diaphragm pumps for efficient, repeatable chemical dosing
- Blacoh pulsation dampeners to stabilize flow and reduce pressure fluctuations
- Blacoh pressure relief valves for system protection
- Peabody Engineering containment enclosure for secondary containment and safety
- CPVC piping selected for chemical compatibility and durability
This project is a strong example of how Anderson Process integrates proven components into purpose‑built systems designed for demanding sanitary and CIP applications.
