We are in the process of building a tank-cleaning cart for a customer who needs to flush oil out of their tanks. The finished cart will include Gusher and Wilden pumps, but the system also needs a custom tank-cleaning lance which will have a spray ball attached to the end.
We built the 16”-long tank-cleaning lance out of 304 stainless steel and then had it glass-bead blasted. It consists of 2″ pipe with a 3″ 150# mounting flange, 2″ male NPT process connection and 1″ MNPT nozzle connection.
