This was our second iteration of a compact pump system designed to be lifted into wind turbines for servicing gearbox oil used in pitch and yaw control of turbine blades.
The goal was portability, reliability, and precise oil transfer in a challenging maintenance environment. The result is a fully integrated, field ready system packaged in a rugged portable case.
System highlights include:
- Tuthill magnetic drive gear pump for leak free, dependable performance
- Badger Meter oval gear flow meter with batch controller for accurate oil transfer
- Prosense pressure switch for system protection and control
- Dixon hydraulic quick disconnect fittings for fast, clean connections
This project is a great example of how Anderson Process brings multiple best in class components together into a single, purpose built solution for demanding applications like renewable energy maintenance.
