Engineered Solutions to Meet Your Requirements

December 4, 2020

We have shared many examples consisting of custom-engineered systems for our customers.  It is rewarding to share the final result, but what all goes into the process to get to that point? Let us help break down the process on the last skid we built to give you an idea.

Our engineering team handles requests from idea to fruition, consisting of requirement gathering, initial plans, CAD models, multiple quote options, and sourcing the best materials for the job.

Here is an example of one of our recent systems for a sustainable packaging manufacturer.  They needed a custom skid to maintain oil temperature and fit a specific footprint in their facility.  After initial discovery conversations with the customer to uncover their needs, our engineering team got to planning.  After working through a budgetary quote and preliminary pricing, we received sign-off to proceed further into the project.  Initial drawings are completed to account for space issues and 3-D models were produced for customer review. Below are a few screenshots of the CAD drawings that were produced by our engineering team for customer review. The drawings were submitted complete with system component recommendations and alternative component options.  After finalized component decisions were made, we were now ready to put the concept into a tangible build.

Our partnership with many Tier-1 product manufacturers and OEM’s in a list of technologies, including pumps, heat exchangers, filters, valves, mixers, meters and many more, allow us to build your custom solutions efficiently and at affordable prices.  Once the drawings were approved by the customer, all necessary components were either on-hand, quickly delivered or fabricated in our shop (see pipe supports in picture) to complete the build.  Here is the final result:

Our team has many years of experience in the industry and always fabricate our systems to industry standards.  All of the system components are installed to manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance. Anderson Process can ship or deliver your custom skid and then help you install it, to make sure the system fits seamlessly into your operation.  If controls are involved, we can help you program and test the system to work with your process.

So the next time you have a need for a fluid handling solution, give us a call to discuss your needs.  Our team will guide you through the process and offer solutions guaranteed to meet your needs.
