A chemical manufacturing customer needed a solution for transferring chemicals within their facility, so we built this Blackmer SMVP Series sliding vane pump. The close-coupled mag-drive pump is made of stainless steel and powered by a WEG motor, mounted on a powder-coated steel double-bent base. We chose the Blackmer SMVP because the seal-less magnetic coupling provides durable, leak-free operation with no release of VOCs and HAPs. It also minimizes waste, dramatically improving production yield.
