For any rotating or reciprocating piece of equipment, the foundation is key to its longevity. Whether it is on a base or cart, securing the equipment helps prevent damage from unwanted movement and vibration.
We secured this Ampco C-Series 3″ x 2″ stainless-steel pump, powered by a 20 hp WEG motor, to a double-bent carbon-steel base. Next, we powder coated the base to help it withstand the environment, extending the life of the equipment.
Once this pump is bolted to the ground, it will eliminate any extra movement and vibration, holding the pump in place while preventing undue stress on the pipes.
