Leak Testing
Part of our fluid fill process includes leak testing of reservoirs. Depending on the process fluid, our machines are capable of both vacuum and leak tests to ensure reservoir integrity and overall product quality.
Vacuum Leak Testing:
The adapter evacuates any fluid from the reservoir and decreases air pressure to monitor the possibility of leaking. Our systems can detect even the slightest change in pressure that would indicate a compromised reservoir unit and alerts the operator with your choice of audio and/or visual notification.
Pressure Testing:
The adapter fills the reservoir with the process fluid to a specified pressure to monitor the possibility of pressure leaks. Again, the system can detect minor changes in pressure that would indicate leaking as a result of the pressure in the reservoir. If the pressure leak test is passed, the system will then level down the process fluid to the target volume and detach the adapter tool.
All leak testing data is stored by the control unit or communicated directly to your Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to provide extensive traceability and quality control.
