Self-Priming Pumps

Self-Priming Pumps

Gorman-Rupp’s various self-priming pumps are the world’s leading choice for waste handling applications in industries such as steel and paper mills, mining operations, food processing plants, power plants, automotive factories, tanneries, and wineries as well as sewage-handling applications. The self-priming feature adds dependability in performance, only the initial priming needed, reducing breakdowns and costly repairs along with mounting versatility so they can be stationed at floor level. Simple maintenance and installation design that can be completed with common hand tools. These pumps are available as basic units for connection to your power source or may be flex-coupled, v-belt driven or engine mounted.

Ultra V Series: Pump Station configurations or stand-alone in 3″,4″, and 6″ sizes, ideally suited for a variety of industrial and sewage applications.

Super T Series: Available in discharge sizes of three, four, six, eight, and ten inches,  suited for a variety of applications including solids-laden liquids and slurries.

T Series: Available in different sized pumps, impeller trims, and speed variations, standard for industrial and sewage applications.

Super U Series: The multi-vane, open impeller is designed for high efficiencies up to 77% operation yet can still handle limited solids.

O Series:  Effective handling of solvents and similar liquids, as well as excellent clean liquids handling.

RD & RS Series: Designed for pumping petroleum products, petrochemicals, and solvents.

80 Series: Medium head, mild solids-handling, self-priming centrifugal pumps are designed for non-stop work loads.

10 Series:  Designed for handling solids, corrosive liquids and slurries. If a clog occurs, it can be removed easily through the cover plate opening without disturbing piping or the use of any special tools.

Submersible Pumps

Submersible Pumps

Gorman-Rupp offers over 400 submersible pump models, including submersible pumps for open pits and quarries, drilled wells and narrow openings, and solids-handling models for slurries and debris-laden models. Their trash handling submersible pumps are ideal for a number of sewage and industrial applications

SF Series:  Available in slide rail and construction / trash version, with 3″, 4″, 6″, and 8″ flanged discharge and power ranging from 3 – 75 HP

S Series (Widebase Submersible): Tackle the big jobs in general construction, strip mining, tunnel work or general-purpose use.

S Series (Slimline Submersible): For drilled wells, narrow cofferdams and hard-to-reach places.

SM Series (MSHA Submersible): Available with stainless steel fitted parts or all-stainless construction for pumping in severe corrosive/abrasive applications such as coal and gassy mines.

SF Series: For dewatering applications where solids are not a concern. Ideal for flooded basements, pools, ponds, pits or anywhere else the pump can be lowered into the water.

SH Series: Feature an enhanced spiral shredder mechanism plate and carbide-tipped impeller to prevent clogging and reduce maintenance when cutting through stringy, fibrous and sludge-type waste. Applications include sewage pumping stations, septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, dirty water drainage, flood and emergency.

HS Series: hydraulic submersible pumps are designed for trash-handling, dewatering applications and for pumping dirty liquids such as mining and paper plant wastes. Operate without using electricity, well suited for applications where electricity is hazardous.

Centrifugal Pumps

Centrifugal Pumps

Gorman-Rupp offers a range of efficient centrifugal pumps with few moving parts requiring minimal maintenance and service. These rugged pumps offer years of performance life.

6500 Series:  For applications where suction lift is not required. A double volute mitigates shaft breakage and extends the life of the mechanical seals, wear rings, and bearings, all while maintaining hydraulic efficiency.

60 Series: Standard centrifugal, high pressure, high volume pumps with exceptional efficiencies (up to 85%). Discharge on many models can be placed in any position by turning the pump casing.

50 Series: Standard centrifugal, high-pressure pumps primarily designed for clear liquid transfer, wash operations, or irrigation.

60 Series (Engine Driven): Engine-driven high-pressure fire pumps deliver up to 156 PSI and 250 GPM.

VG Series: An enclosed impeller design incorporates double curvature vanes along with the entrance of the volute casing has dynamic positioning vanes that direct the flow to the impeller for increased efficiency while reducing net positive suction head.

VGH Series:  Engineered for maximum operating efficiency and minimal energy consumption when pumping dirty liquids and mild abrasives. Same enclosed impeller design as VG with double curvature vanes.

Rotary Gear Pumps

Rotary Gear Pumps

Gorman-Rupp rotary gear pumps are available in medium-duty, heavy-duty, and extreme duty models – in cast iron, cast steel, and stainless steel. This series of pumps are versatile enough to handle virtually any pump application and liquid type. Patented features of these rotary gear pumps add increased performance and longer life, providing quality and reliability.

GMC Series: Designed for intermittent or medium-duty service for applications.

GMS Series: Units are available with head and backhead jackets for temperature control, carbon graphite bushings for low viscosity liquids, silicon carbide bushings for wear resistance.

GHC Series: Available in iron, steel, and stainless steel pumps, designed for continuous duty service for applications.

GHS Series: Designed for continuous duty service for applications. The units are ideal for bulk handling both thin and viscous liquids.

GHA Series: Designed for continuous duty service for applications, units are available with head and backhead jackets for temperature control, along with packing or mechanical seal options.
